Hand cut paper
22” x 30”
Looking backwards at 2020, I needed proof that that year had been more than just a fog. Each tile represents one day of the year, starting on March 13th, 2020, when Covid started to make an impact in the U.S., all the way to the New Year, 2021. Slightly askew, the work references an open calendar. The images for each tile were chosen by going back into my camera roll and selecting an image from each corresponding day. The tile with only numbers meant that I took no photos on that day.
